I hold a Master's Degree in Spanish Linguistics, which has given me an in-depth understanding of the Spanish language, its structure, grammar, and the cultural richness of the Spanish-speaking world. My academic background allows me to explain even the most complex language concepts in a clear, engaging, and practical way.
I have taught Spanish at Texas Tech University and Southern Methodist University (SMU), where I worked with college students to strengthen their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Teaching at the university level has equipped me to support learners from beginner to advanced proficiency.
In addition, I have spent the last eight years as an elementary bilingual teacher with Dallas ISD, helping students develop literacy and academic success in both English and Spanish. This experience has made me a patient, creative, and encouraging instructor who knows how to adapt lessons to each student's learning style and goals.
