Having experience as both a student and a teacher has been invaluable to me. As a Teaching Assistant, I have had the privilege of teaching more than 1,000 students over the course of 4 times. My most memorable experience was when I was given the opportunity to teach a class of approximately 200 students. It was an incredible learning experience that has allowed me to understand the material from the perspective of both a student and an instructor. With this knowledge, I feel much better equipped to help my students gain an understanding of the subject.

In my Masters in Mathematics and Physics, I have taken courses in algebra, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, complex analysis, numerical analysis, probability and statistics, mathematical physics, and quantum mechanics. In addition, I have taken courses in classical mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics.

The algebra course focused on the fundamentals of algebraic equations, linear and polynomial equations, and analysis of linear systems. The calculus course was a more in-depth look at the topics of integration, differentiation, sequences and series, and vectors. In the differential equations course, I studied methods for solving ordinary and partial differential equations. The linear algebra course focused on topics such as matrices, vector spaces, and linear transformations. The complex analysis course dealt with the topics of complex numbers, analytic functions, and power series expansions.

I love tutoring so much that I decided to make it my full-time job. This is great news for you, as it means I can be incredibly flexible with my schedule and fit around your availability. My students are always delighted with my style of teaching, and they have nothing but positive reviews for me.

If you need help or advice, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. I am patient and willing to offer encouragement to students so that they can persist and do their best. I'm just a message away!

AMC (Competition math)

AMC (Competition math)

I’m exceptionally qualified to coach students for AMC competition math because I pair deep content knowledge with large-scale teaching experience. As a Teaching Assistant, I’ve taught more than 1,000 students across four terms, including leading a lecture of roughly 200 learners—an experience that sharpened my ability to explain tricky ideas clearly, anticipate common misconceptions, and keep diverse classrooms engaged. Seeing mathematics from both the student and instructor perspectives helps me design lessons that build intuition first and speed second—exactly what AMC problems demand. My academic training gives me a rock-solid foundation for the algebraic, geometric, and analytic reasoning at the heart of AMC 8/10/12. During my Master’s in Mathematics and Physics, I completed rigorous courses in algebra, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, complex analysis, numerical analysis, probability and statistics, mathematical physics, and quantum mechanics, alongside classical mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics. These courses refined the tools students need for contests—pattern recognition, clever algebraic manipulation, strategic use of vectors and series, and comfort moving between multiple representations of a problem. Beyond the classroom, I’ve done field work in math education—supporting enrichment workshops, problem-solving circles, and competition prep sessions that help younger students develop habits of systematic experimentation and proof-minded thinking. Tutoring is now my full-time focus, which means I’m flexible, responsive, and fully invested in each student’s progress. My students consistently praise my patient, encouraging style and the way I break complex problems into crisp, learnable moves—building the confidence and speed that turn AMC practice into AMC results.
Earth Science

Earth Science

With a strong academic foundation in both mathematics and physics, I am exceptionally well-qualified to teach Earth Sciences to students at various levels. My educational background includes a Master’s degree where I completed rigorous coursework in subjects such as classical mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and mathematical physics—each of which forms a vital part of understanding Earth’s physical systems. Additionally, I have taken specialized Earth Science–related courses, including Geology and Earth Processes, Environmental Physics, and Atmospheric Dynamics. These courses have given me a solid grasp of how mathematical and physical principles apply directly to the natural processes that shape our planet. Beyond my academic preparation, I have gained valuable hands-on experience through fieldwork in Earth Sciences. My fieldwork has included studying soil composition, analyzing rock formations, and observing weather and climate patterns in real-world environments. This practical experience has allowed me to connect theory with application—an approach I bring directly into my tutoring. I emphasize the importance of field-based learning, helping students understand how the concepts they study manifest in the natural world around them. As a tutor and Teaching Assistant who has worked with over a thousand students, I bring not only expertise but also proven teaching experience. Having taught large classes of up to 200 students, I have developed the ability to explain complex concepts in accessible and engaging ways. My teaching philosophy is rooted in patience, clarity, and enthusiasm for discovery. I take pride in helping students build confidence in their understanding of Earth Sciences, guiding them through both the analytical and observational aspects of the field. By combining my academic knowledge, field experience, and passion for teaching, I ensure that my students gain a deep and lasting appreciation for the Earth and its dynamic systems.
High School Placement Test

High School Placement Test

I’m a full-time tutor with experience on both sides of the classroom—student and instructor—and I’ve taught more than 1,000 learners as a Teaching Assistant (including leading a class of ~200). That scale sharpened my lesson planning, assessment, and pacing, which translates directly to high-school placement prep: I know how to diagnose gaps quickly, target practice efficiently, and coach test-taking strategy so students feel confident on exam day. My academic background—Bachelor’s and Master’s work in Mathematics and Physics—covers the exact skills these tests demand. I’ve completed rigorous courses in algebra, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, complex analysis, numerical analysis, probability & statistics, mathematical physics, quantum mechanics, classical mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics. Through senior projects, I learned to break down complex problems into clear, step-by-step methods—an approach I apply to algebraic manipulation, functions, word problems, data interpretation, and quantitative reasoning. Most importantly, I’ve already helped many students raise placement outcomes through structured study plans, focused drills, and personalized feedback. My students consistently praise my patient, encouraging style and the way I explain concepts from multiple angles. Because tutoring is my full-time work, I’m flexible with scheduling and fully invested in each student’s progress—from initial diagnostic to targeted practice to a calm, confident test performance.
Praxis

Praxis

With experience as both a student and an instructor, including teaching over 1,000 students and leading a class of nearly 200, I bring a strong understanding of how learners absorb and apply new concepts. This dual perspective allows me to break down material clearly, anticipate common challenges, and guide students through effective test-taking strategies tailored to the Praxis exam. My academic background—rooted in a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Physics—covers all major content areas relevant to Praxis mathematics preparation. Coursework in algebra, calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, probability, statistics, and mathematical reasoning provides me with the depth needed to support students through even the most challenging Praxis topics with clarity and confidence. Tutoring is my full-time commitment, which allows me to offer flexible scheduling and highly personalized instruction. Students consistently praise my patient, encouraging teaching style, and I am dedicated to helping each learner build the skills and confidence needed to succeed on the Praxis. SHSAT (NY HS admissions)

SHSAT (NY HS admissions)

With experience teaching more than 1,000 students—including leading a class of nearly 200—I bring a deep understanding of how students learn and how to communicate complex ideas clearly. Having been both a student and an instructor, I am able to anticipate common challenges and explain material from multiple perspectives, a skill that is especially valuable when preparing students for the rigorous SHSAT. My advanced academic background in mathematics and physics provides a strong foundation for the SHSAT’s math and problem-solving sections. Courses such as algebra, calculus, linear algebra, probability, and numerical analysis have equipped me with a mastery of the concepts far beyond what the exam requires, allowing me to break down difficult topics into simple, effective strategies that students can confidently apply on test day. As a full-time tutor with flexible availability and consistently positive feedback from students, I create a supportive and motivating learning environment. My patience, encouragement, and commitment to student success help learners build the confidence and discipline needed to excel on the SHSAT. I am not just a tutor— I am a coach who guides students every step of the way.
Thermodynamics

Thermodynamics

I’m highly qualified to teach thermodynamics because I combine deep subject exposure with proven teaching experience. As a Teaching Assistant across four terms, I’ve taught more than 1,000 students and even led a class of ~200—experience that sharpened my lesson design, pacing, and assessment. Working as both a student and an instructor has trained me to anticipate where learners struggle (e.g., state variables vs. path functions, the intuition behind entropy) and to explain concepts from multiple angles with patience and clarity. Tutoring is now my full-time work, so I bring the flexibility and commitment needed to support steady progress. My academic background gives me the mathematical and physical toolkit thermodynamics demands. In my Master’s in Mathematics and Physics, I completed rigorous coursework in calculus, differential equations, linear algebra, complex analysis, probability and statistics, mathematical physics, and quantum mechanics—alongside core physics courses in classical mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics. This foundation lets me connect the laws of thermodynamics to the math that drives them: deriving relations with partial derivatives, using integrating factors for exact differentials, analyzing cycles with ODEs, and interpreting ensembles and fluctuations when probability enters the picture. I also bring hands-on perspective from a senior project in thermodynamics, where I applied theory to a real system—formulating the problem, identifying appropriate state equations and constitutive relations, and validating results against data. That project reinforced practical skills students need: setting up energy and entropy balances correctly, distinguishing open/closed systems and control volumes, working with real-gas models and property tables/software, and evaluating cycle efficiency and irreversibilities with the second law. Combined with my students’ consistently positive reviews and my supportive, structured approach, this background equips me to guide learners from fundamental
Urdu

Urdu

I’m an Urdu native speaker raised in an Urdu-speaking household, and I also attended an Urdu-medium school. That means I bring authentic pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, and cultural context to my lessons—not just textbook rules. From idioms and honorifics to regional variants and formal/informal registers, I help learners sound natural and confident in real conversations. On the teaching side, I’ve served as a Teaching Assistant four times and taught more than 1,000 students, including leading a class of about 200. Working at that scale honed my classroom management, lesson planning, and assessment skills, while my experience on both sides of the desk—student and instructor—lets me anticipate common stumbling blocks and explain concepts from multiple angles. My students consistently praise my patient, encouraging style and the clear structure I bring to each session. Academically, my Master’s in Mathematics and Physics trained me to break down complex ideas into simple, logical steps—an approach I apply directly to Urdu grammar, reading, writing, and speaking. I design goal-oriented curricula, scaffold skills from basics to fluency, and use data-driven practice to track progress. Tutoring is my full-time work, so I’m flexible with scheduling and fully committed to each learner’s success.
