I am a native Spanish speaker from Colombia with more than six years of teaching experience in private schools and public school districts. I currently teach Spanish I and Spanish II and have experience working with elementary and middle school students. I earned my undergraduate degree in Law from Universidad Católica de Colombia, but my passion for education led me to make teaching my second career and to share my language and Colombian culture with others.
My lessons are personalized, practical, and supportive. I help students with Spanish coursework, homework, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, conversation, and test preparation. I use clear explanations, comprehensible input, visuals, repetition, and frequent checks for understanding, adapting my approach to each student's needs and learning style.
I also welcome adults and professionals who want to improve their Spanish for conversation, travel, everyday life, or the workplace. Whether your goal is to improve your grades or become more confident speaking Spanish, I will create lessons around your individual goals.
