Art and education have been an integral part of my life. I have found a fulfillment and joy in the burgeoning creativity of my students equal to that pleasure I find in my own creative and intellectual pursuits. I believe that enhancing an individual’s education through The Arts improves academic success, provides balance in the daily activity of a student and an outlet for self-expression that lasts a lifetime.
My teaching impetus is not limited to the visual arts. Learning to make and appreciate art is a way to cultivate global perceptions. I feel that it is not only my responsibility to teach Art. It is also necessary to keep students engaged and interested so they may attain their creative and academic goals.
I am an Artist and an Educator. Currently, I teach in a High School and a local Community College. I have been teaching art-related courses for over 15 years. I also have work experience in the public sector as a graphic designer/illustrator.
I possess vast reserves of patience.
