Knowledgeable and Awesome Latin Teacher!
My son is 11 years old and a 6th grader. In his school, Latin is mandatory in 5th and 6th grade. Neither my husband nor I know anything about Latin and therefore, we came to Wyzant to seek help. We are so glad we found Ms. Gina. She is very patient, easy going, and most importantly, very knowledgeable about Latin. My son has had two lessons so far and he enjoyed every single one of them. During the class, not only she helped my son about his quiz and vocabulary, but also went an extra mile to introduce the history behind the language. Ms. Gina is also able to explain a difficult concept in a much simpler and easy-to-understand format. My son truly appreciates Ms. Gina and is looking forward to having many more lessons from her.

Enthusiastic Knowledgeable Tutor
I needed a Latin tutor for my high schooler in a pinch and here was Gina to the rescue! Prior to the first meeting, she dove in gathering all the information needed, therefore utilizing the full hour to tutor and guide her to success. Within minutes we could tell Gina was enthusiastic about the topic as well as knowledgable. Latin is a difficult subject but she made it fun and relatable. I do like to get some additional information on tutors and learned that Gina tutors for the AP Latin Exam tutorials, National Latin Exams, Roman History, Law and Literature and Mythology and geography of the Roman world. During her free time she is studying law and of course tutors pre-law, as well as pre-med, students on terminology and practices. She works with all levels and ages too. I will definitely be scheduling more sessions with Gina and highly recommend her!
