I have always had a strong suit in math and science classes, having taken accelerated math courses in elementary school and middle school, and Honors and Advanced Placement math and science courses in high school.
My greatest passion for tutoring students is to watch them grow from being in need of assistance to excelling at the top of their class in their courses. My objective is to reinforce the lessons that students have been taught in school and to provide a more broken-down but memorable way to understand their material. In addition, I have always learned best in the one-on-one setting with individualized attention for the student rather than having to self-teach myself.
I have taken every math course offered in elementary school and middle school, and nearly every course in high school, and am able to explain concepts to students in a very simple and understandable way that will help them succeed in class.
