¡Hola! I'm Paulina, a professional Language Tutor. I graduated in Foreign Languages and Public Relations in Mexico, and I have been working with languages for more than 5 years in the USA. I am certified with Teaching English as a Foreign Language/ Teacher of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TEFL/TESOL). I have an Online ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) International teaching certificate and I have a DELF (Diploma of Studies in French Language) level B1.My Portuguese is quite social, and I understand most of the conversations; I can speak and write it. Additionally, I have 2 years of experience as an interpreter in both medical and financial fields in Spanish and English.

I have experience teaching Spanish, English, French and Portuguese online. Most of my students want to practice these languages to be able to have conversations in other countries (when they travel), improve grades at school and to correct writing and grammar in essays, texts, etc. Many of them have some knowledge of these languages but feel they can't converse and therefore I focus my classes on conversation. However, I also tutor beginners...So don't worry, we can start from ABC. I can teach anything from beginner Spanish and English to conversational levels, teach you verb conjugations, vocabulary, and good pronunciation. Nevertheless, as I said my French level is B1 and Portuguese I learned it on my own, therefore I can only teach up to these levels or beginners.

As a tutor, I am kind, patient, and empathetic. I love being able to talk about different topics, culture, history, music, etc. I always try to make my classes fun and interesting where my students feel confident and where communication is the most important. I love people and I find tutoring very stimulating and enriching. I am flexible with what a student needs and what their goals are towards the language.
