I have taken many art history classes and I can teach about art history as well. I think that learning how to draw or paint a portrait from life is a very complex way to learn if you are learning by yourself. If someone wants to learn how to draw or paint from life you need to see a physical demonstration from the artist. Otherwise the person will not know how to begin and how to end the portrait. This is why the art teacher teaches you how to use the materials, and how to start a painting or drawing step by step in order to make an accurate portrait. I can teach students how to do a very accurate portrait following very simple steps.
Besides my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts I also got a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. When I was completing my BFA in Psychology I worked in two internships as a research assistant where I was interviewing participants and helping them to complete their requirements when they were participating in the lab. I also worked with children teaching them how to draw and paint in an elementary school during a summer break. Therefore is easy for me to help others to improve in their artistic skills.
Spanish is my native language. I was born in USA but raised in Mexico. I completed both of my bachelor's degrees in Tempe, Arizona where I helped people how to speak Spanish in college.
I completed my major in Fine Arts. I can paint and draw from life. I have five years of experience drawing and painting. The mediums that I usually use are oils, charcoal and graphite.
