I am a certified Social Studies teacher and am currently tutoring with EPISD. During my time at a Middle School you could find my classroom to be structured similar to this, daily development and creation of lesson plans ranging from day to day activities to entire unit lessons while collaborating with cooperating teacher. Delivery of innovative lessons that create background knowledge of the content material while making it relatable to current events. Consistent motivation and communication with students daily about the objective and overall progression of their learning experience. Management of classroom ranging anywhere from 28 – 37 students while maintaining appropriate and cohesive transitions throughout the lesson and objective. Teaching is something that is done daily as is learning. I can help a student understand what it is they are learning or help reinforce the foundation of what is being learned.
The purpose of education is to provide students with a gateway they can use for the rest of their lives in a real world setting. Teachers help students learn about things that are foreign to them while at the same time providing answers to the questions they have. A teacher is an ideal role model for students who are searching for guidance. One can achieve this by providing leadership, passion, and dedication to a career as a teacher.
