I love learning new things and I love sharing the knowledge I gain. After discovering my passion for art, I also discovered my patience in teaching children art and this has allowed me to work the last 3 years in different settings like classrooms and workshops, with age groups ranging between 3 years - 15 years.
Through art, my goal is to aid my students in finding confidence and pride in their talents and skills, in order for them to develop stronger communication skills and advance to their next potential. My favorite part of working with kids that have even the slightest interest in art is discovering their strengths and weaknesses, in order to foster their problem solving and observational skills which will boost their artistic technique and creativity.
I am a fluent English and Spanish speaker. I took a semester of Hebrew and am currently enrolled in Biblical Hebrew courses. I have volunteered as a spiritual leader and biblical instructor in different locations in the past 5 years, dealing with different age groups.
Besides taking school music classes and private drum lessons, I have had the opportunity to play percussion in different settings and with a variety of musicians since age 10.
My Art Education preparation required for me to take a minimum of 9 hours of Art History: Prehistoric Art, Twentieth Century Art, and Art in the Medieval world. I look forward to hearing from you to help you become a better artist, or to share my bilingual and/or musical experience!
