Hello inquiring students, my name is Mike. I am available to teach a variety of different subjects from K-1 through K-12. I have been a certified teacher in the state of New Mexico and have worked as a substitute teacher in El Paso Texas for seven years. I also have a bachelor's degree in the field of Business Marketing. As part of my career background, I have worked as an industrial CNC programmer and tool and die supervisor. I hold certification in blueprint reading and tool fabrication. My other career achievements have included retail and restaurant management, and Public Relations for chiropractors and rehabilitation clinics.
My personal hobbies include visual arts, painting, drawing and sculpting. I have also practiced and have taught Martial Arts and self defense as a contractor for the city of El Paso and as an independent federation. My academic passions include science, math, social studies, athletics, and acting. My philosophy is based on the idea that flexibility and adaptability must go hand in hand with learning.
