Hello! My name is Angelica, and I am a bilingual (English-Spanish) Speech-Language Pathologist and current psychology Ph.D. student studying bilingualism, language, and cognition. I earned my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from California State University San Marcos and have clinical experience working with children and adults across a variety of communication needs in both healthcare and educational settings.

My background has given me extensive experience helping individuals improve communication skills including speech clarity, expressive and receptive language, conversational confidence, public speaking, academic communication, and English language development. I have worked one-on-one with diverse learners from many cultural and linguistic backgrounds, and I strive to create a supportive, encouraging, and individualized learning environment. I understand that communication can feel vulnerable, and I aim to help students build both skills and confidence at their own pace.

In addition to speech, language, and communication-based subjects, I also tutor psychology and related academic areas. As a current doctoral student, I value organization, critical thinking, and collaborative learning strategies that can be adapted to each student’s goals and learning style. Whether you are looking to improve professional communication, strengthen public speaking skills, receive ESL support, or gain confidence in academic subjects, I would be happy to work with you!
