Hi! I’m Mauvy, and I’m passionate about helping students truly enjoy learning. I’m currently a senior at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing a Bachelor’s in Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology. I graduated early from El Paso Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Psychology and a 4.0 GPA, and I’ve consistently maintained strong academic performance across a wide range of subjects.

I love making tough topics easier to understand—whether that’s simplifying K–5 math or walking through college-level neuroscience and physics. I’ve helped both young children and college peers grasp new material with confidence, and I’m excited to support more students through Wyzant.

I tutor K–5 Math, Middle/High School Science (Biology and Physics), Intro Biology, Neural Systems I, and Introductory Physics.

I recently earned A’s in Neural Systems I, Biology I & II, and Calculus-Based Physics II, so I’m especially equipped to help students currently navigating these subjects.
