I am a native Spanish speaker, born and raised in the border cities of the U.S. and Mexico, and fully bilingual in English and Spanish. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music with a specialization in Singing from the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), completed in 2017, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and Digital Competencies from the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR), completed in 2021. While pursuing this Master’s, I simultaneously completed diplomas in Educational Neurotechnology and Innovation, Digital Resources for the Classroom, and Fundamentals of Digital Educational Communities, also from UNIR. I am currently pursuing a second Master’s in Choral Conducting and Pedagogy at UNIR, expanding my expertise in music education, digital innovation, and leadership.
My work is primarily dedicated to church singing, with a strong focus on Catholic liturgical music—both teaching and performing. Since 2014, I have worked as a music instructor, both privately and through digital platforms. Since 2017, I have served as a faculty member at the Diocesan School of Liturgical Music, part of the Catholic Diocese of Ciudad Juárez, where I teach Choral Conducting, Choral Ensembles, Digital Media Applied to Music, and Music Theory and Solfège.
My performance experience includes major works such as Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, Orff’s Carmina Burana, Mozart’s Requiem, and Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker, as well as operas like Tosca, Pagliacci, Cavalleria Rusticana, Don Pasquale, and Don Giovanni. I’ve performed with the UACJ Symphony Orchestra and collaborated with the El Paso Chorale and Chamber Choir. I also participated in the UACJ Experimental Popular Music Ensemble and DeClase Ensamble. In 2024, I had the honor of participating in the IV International Choir Meeting at the Vatican, presided over by Monsignor Marco Frisina.
