I began my professional journey in education as a teaching assistant in a pre-k special education unit. This rewarding opportunity lasted for 3 years and helped support my academic journey in receiving my degree and certification. I then pursued a position in a public school as a 6th and 7th grade English teacher. I have been honored to work with this school and district now for 2 years.
I have the ability to work with students of all ages and backgrounds. However, I am especially gifted in working with students in 5th-8th grade. I also focus my tutoring on areas of English Language Arts. This includes reading, writing, editing, and test prep.
