My name is Omar, I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design with a minor in sculpture, and I also obtained my Master of Education in Instructional technology with a 4.0 GPA from the University of Texas at El Paso. I have been teaching computer applications for over 10 years in the classroom. I have also tutored 1-on-1 for 3 years. I love everything about computer applications, web design, and digital media. My name is Omar, I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design with a minor in sculpture, and I also obtained my Master of Education in Instructional technology with a 4.0 GPA from the University of Texas at El Paso. I have been teaching computer applications for over 10 years in the classroom. I have also tutored 1-on-1 for 3 years. I love everything about computer applications, web design, and digital media. Web design with HTML and CSS is what I really enjoy teaching the most. I truly believe that It is a skill that is growing in demand and essential for many jobs to come in the near future.

I have over 10 years of teaching computer applications in the classroom. I am patient and adapt my teaching pace to my students. I can help students take their designs from sketches to wireframes, to beautiful working prototypes which they can share on any device with anybody they need to.

My main priority is to make my students have a better understanding of whatever technology they may be working on and to also make the learning experience interesting and relevant to them.

I’ve taught Digital Media to 8th-12th grade students for the past 15 years, where we work with tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Vectr, and Photopea. In addition, I’ve also been teaching an Arts & Entertainment Technologies dual enrollment course through the University of Texas at Austin. I also have experience as a freelance web designer, specializing in UI/UX using Figma.

I have been teaching digital media in the classroom for the past 15 years. I have been using Adobe Photoshop CS6 for this, and also Photopea for the past 3 years. I have taught my students how to edit photos, do composites, image manipulations, and gif animations.

Prior to completing Clever Programmer's bootcamp for frontend mastery, I had taught CSS in the classroom setting for 5 years. I know how to use flex-box, grid, and media-queries for creating responsive web content. I know how to use hexadecimal, hsl, and rbg color settings for text and objects. I am also very confident in how to use SVG icons and manipulate their size and color using CSS.

In the last six years, I've been teaching web design using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I have experience teaching in-person and online, and I've worked with students of all ages and skill levels. My students have told me that I make web design easy to understand and fun to learn. I love helping students ask questions and be creative with coding. Besides teaching, I've also worked on some website projects as a freelancer in the past year. This real-world experience has helped me improve my skills and learn how to apply what I teach. I always keep up with the latest trends and technologies in web design, so I can give students the best advice and prepare them for the modern web world. As a web design tutor, I enjoy teaching students how to create websites from scratch. I want to help them become great problem solvers and let their creativity shine. Whether they're just starting or already know a lot about web design, I'm here to support and guide them towards their goals.
