I’ve been honored to receive the designation of Master Teacher by the state of Texas, recognizing my consistent success in the classroom and my ability to support student growth year after year. I specialize in STAAR Reading and Writing preparation and have a strong track record of helping students achieve passing scores — and often exceed expectations. My favorite part of this is helping my students to find confidence in themselves and accomplish things they’d never accomplished thought themselves capable of doing, and then the pride that comes with leveling up!
While I’m deeply experienced and successful in test prep, my true love is literature. Whether we’re diving into Shakespeare, analyzing modern novels, or breaking down poetry, I work to make classic and contemporary texts accessible, engaging, and meaningful for every student.
I take a patient, individualized approach to tutoring, and I believe in building students’ skills and their confidence. Whether your goal is to pass an exam, write a strong essay, or simply understand a book that feels out of reach, I’d love to help.
