I am Minhaz Ahmed, and I have a strong academic and professional background in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis, supported by my graduate-level studies in economics and business analytics. I have over a decade of teaching experience at the university level, where I taught business mathematics, statistics, and quantitative methods to undergraduate students. My academic training and research experience have equipped me with a deep understanding of core mathematical concepts such as algebra, calculus, probability, and statistical modeling, as well as their real-world applications in business and data-driven decision making.

In my teaching approach, I focus on simplifying complex mathematical concepts into step-by-step explanations that are easy to understand, even for students who may struggle with math anxiety. I have experience working with a diverse group of students, ranging from school-level learners to college students, in both classroom and one-on-one settings. I emphasize conceptual clarity first, followed by guided practice and problem-solving techniques, ensuring that students not only learn how to solve problems but also understand why each step is taken.

Over the years, I have helped students improve their performance in subjects such as algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics, as well as standardized test preparation including GRE-level quantitative reasoning. My goal as a tutor is to build students’ confidence, improve their problem-solving skills, and make math more approachable and less intimidating. I adapt my teaching style based on each student’s learning pace and needs, ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment.
