Hi! I'm Cassidy, and I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m a passionate, lifelong learner who loves math and helping others gain confidence in it too. I graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Statistics and a concentration in Actuarial Science. After college, I worked for two years at a Big Four accounting firm, where I developed strong analytical and communication skills. I then transitioned into teaching full-time at a small classical school, where I taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and Introduction to Calculus to junior high and high school students.

My tutoring experience ranges from early elementary students to college-level learners, and I truly enjoy helping students at all stages of their academic journey. Whether we’re reviewing the basics or diving into more advanced topics, I aim to make complex concepts feel clear, manageable, and even fun. I tailor my approach to meet each student’s unique needs and believe students learn best when they feel supported, understood, and encouraged. I love creating a safe and engaging environment where learners feel confident asking questions and taking academic risks.

I often use guided practice, creative strategies, and real-world examples to help students connect with the material in meaningful ways. Whether it's reinforcing classroom instruction, prepping for a test, or filling in knowledge gaps, my goal is to ensure students walk away feeling equipped—not overwhelmed.
