Hello! I am Dr. G, but I would like it if you called me Terry. Since I was very young I have loved Maths and Physics, and so I have spent my life doing what I love. I studied for my B.Sc in Physics and Astrophysics, and then obtained my Ph.D. in Quantum Physics from the University of Cambridge. While this may seem very advanced I so enjoy teaching and passing on my knowledge to students who either find the sciences challenging (because there are ways to make it easier than the textbooks let you know :-) ) or for those that find the subjects less challenging and wish to really excel. I have taught at three Universities and have over 30 years of experience, teaching all ranges of students from high school to Ph.D. students.

I not only would like to teach you the materials you need to pass exams with the highest grades, but I also like to teach you ways to approach your studies to make things easier for you and how you can really excel. Also, I can help you quickly identify both your strong areas and the areas that you are having trouble with so that we can most effectively use your time to become proficient in all the subject materials you need.

I have studied Maths and Physics for over 50 years, and have had the opportunity to teach hundreds of students Maths and Physics from the most basic to the most advanced. There is magic to Maths and Physics and it can be great fun. If I can show you that it can be fun, then learning the materials changes from being a chore or dread, to something stimulating.
