I’m Mumukshu. This 15th December 2017 I will graduate from University of North Texas with a PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering. Looking back to past, I appreciate how my life’s voyage had a different origin towards interest in science and math, even though my parents didn’t had a background in engineering. Comprehensive academic curriculum during my high school, undergraduation, and graduation developed a strong foundation in math and science which helped me to be always in top 5% of the class. I give full credit to the teachers and professor throughout my academic career who aroused curiosity and made my science and math classes exciting. These professors always put an extra effort on individual students to make complex things simplified and comprehensible and everyone is on the same level. I will try to bring similar approach and explain things simply. I also encouraged my students to ask any type of questions without any hesitation and fear. I use visual materials such as videos, animated images, and real life pictures to have a thorough understanding of the subject, which it helps the students to remember for lifetime.
I have a teaching experience starting from high school to graduate students from almost more than 5 years. I am specifically working for the university to teach engineering classes related to math and science. The average class was over 20 with the largest class of 50. I have always worked with students beyond office hours to ensure that they understand the material thoroughly. In this setting I can teach/tutor math (Calculus, Algebra, Trigonometry, SAT math, GRE math, Differential equation, and many more topics) and science (physics and chemistry).
