I have been teaching and marketing for over 10 years. During that time, I have honed my speaking ability, and I have lectured all across the country. In fact, I have lectured at 7 different universities in Texas, in addition to the Duke University School of Law and the University of Minneapolis Law School. I have also conducted poster presentations of my science research, and I taught at several public high schools in Texas. I understand how to entertain and educate a crowd, and I am a good skills coach. I worked for 10 years in the test prep industry helping people prepare for stressful events, so I also understand the psychology of performance anxiety.

I have been playing chess since I was 8 years old. My dad and I used to play in the evenings, and I fondly remember the first time I beat him. In college, I honed my chess skills as a member of the Internet Chess Club. I logged hundreds of hours of play, and my rating was in the 1600s. I am a huge fan of Yasser Seirawan's books, which I use to review with my students.

great teacher

Very informative and takes time to explain and break down the process of logic games. Is understanding and will not move on until you are confident in learning the material!

This man saved my life!

I started working with Keith mid December after a 4-week intensive test-prep program with one of the large LSAT prep companies that had not sufficiently prepared me for my target score. Keith and I worked for a total of SIX months, and he made it as pain-free as possible. Working with Keith allowed us to analyze my strengths and weaknesses, come up with specific study plans and strategies together, and learn the triple-review method. Keith’s triple-review method is what stood out for me above anyone else I interviewed with for LSAT prep. While it may seem tedious, it really helps you break down each section and understand your incorrect and correct thought processes. Keith is amazing at explaining things in numerous ways, so if you don’t understand his reasoning the first time he has no problem rephrasing it over and over again until you are on the same page. He is a super supportive and encouraging tutor and made me feel like I was the only student he was working with. Keith is super knowledgeable regarding the changes that LSAC makes to the test over time, and tweaks his methods to accommodate the new techniques students will have to understand, which is key to your LSAT success. I would recommend Keith to anyone who is starting from square one with LSAT prep, or someone who was not pleased with their large company LSAT prep experience. My score improved around 5 points, but more importantly, I understood the concepts way better than I did with the large test-prep companies. I can honestly say that I will miss my study sessions with Keith and can’t wait to return to him for Law School help and Bar prep.

Patient tutor with Innovative approach

Keith helped me develop a study plan for my upcoming LSAT. He walked me through complex logic games that I had struggled with and taught me a new angle from which to see the problems.

Quality tutor 5 stars

Explains things in a clear and easy to understand way. We worked on order games, and I was amazed at how much I learned in one hour. I will be using Keith again in the near future.

Very Knowledgeable and Patient

Met Mr. Keith via Wyzant to prepare me for the forthcoming Texas Bar exam. Right from our first meeting, he set up a brilliant schedule which works very well for me. During our meetings, he breaks the law and/or questions down to the level at which I can understand and remember them. I will HIGHLY recommend Mr. Keith to anyone who is in need of a serious-minded tutor who cares enough for the success of the student. God bless you, Mr. Keith!

Keith is very knowledgeable in writing.

He has taught me so much throughout our tutoring sessions. He has taught me MLA and APA styles of writing. Since he has tutored me my grades are better. I make less writing errors since I have worked with Keith. He makes me feel very comfortable. I enjoy my sessions with him. I am learning so much about writing. I appreciate his help.

Great Tutor

Keith is really helpful in providing strategies that apply to specific questions. He is also very nice so even if you get many questions incorrect (as I did), he does not make you feel like you are any lesser because of it. Keith is a great tutor and is very flexible in terms of what you need out of a lesson.
