Let's having fun learning Japanese! Level 0 - Advanced/Business Levels

Nami K.

こんにちは！(Kon'nichiwa!)
Hello!
My name is Nami.
I am a native Japanese and have taught Japanese for near 30 years in the US. Currently I live in Dallas, Texas (Central Time zone).
I have taught Japanese for many years since 1995 ; from the age of kindergarten to adults, until I received a Masters Degree in Japanese Pedagogy at Columbia University in 2015. Since I got my Master degree, I have taught Basic Japanese classes (Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced) at universities. I also have taught Business Japanese, Japanese culture, Japanese history, Japanese society and Japanese literature.

The reason that I decided to start teaching/tutoring Japanese again is that I know there are so many people (kids and adults) who want to learn the Japanese language more effectively by the students' pace (w/o a syllabus), and to take private lessons inside (or outside) the U.S. I really want to help!

I think I am very casual teacher: I love to laugh and have fun with my students!
My motto is " I want to help my students to reach their goal" and "Never give up!"
I am here to help you! So, please tell me what is your goal and why you want to accomplish it!

Do you need help studying Japanese for school?
Do you need a teacher/tutor for studying JLPT (all levels) or Speech contests?
Do you need to learn basic Japanese for a business trip or vacation?
Do you want to read Japanese novels or Manga in Japanese?
Do you love Japanese Anime and want to learn the language? (I love Japanese Anime too!)
Have you studied Japanese at school and want to continue studying it more seriously?
Do you have a Japanese textbook and need a teacher?
Do you want to learn Japanese for fun?
or any other reason!

I am flexible, so if you have any questions, please let me know!
