I hold dual master's degrees from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where I also served as a graduate teaching assistant for multiple courses, and a B.S. in Biochemistry and Genetics. Over seven years of tutoring and teaching experience spans one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and university classroom instruction across a wide range of ages and backgrounds, from undergraduate students to graduate students, faculty, and international professionals.
At the Texas A&M University Writing Center, I completed 250+ individual consultations helping students and faculty across all disciplines strengthen their writing, communication, and critical thinking skills. I also facilitated writing workshops for groups of 50 or more students in collaboration with university faculty. At Johns Hopkins, I assisted in teaching graduate-level courses and led a professional writing course focused on clarity and precision in academic and scientific communication.
My approach is student-led and highly adaptable. I begin each engagement by identifying the student's specific goals, then work collaboratively to address those priorities while helping them recognize broader areas for growth. I have worked with students preparing for the TOEFL exam, navigating college application essays, and developing professional and technical writing skills. My international experience with the United Nations further sharpened my ability to communicate effectively across cultures and skill levels.
