I have a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, allowing me to create engaging, effective lessons tailored to each student’s needs. Additionally, I am certified in ESL (EC-12) and Special Education (EC-12) in Texas, which enables me to support a wide variety of learners, including English language learners and students with unique learning needs. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students on reading, writing, and preparing for state assessments. I also specialize in designing individualized lessons that address each student’s strengths and challenges.
I have experience working in after-school tutorials and small group instruction, which has helped me build strong, meaningful relationships with students while supporting their academic growth. I am well-versed in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) standards and ensure that my lessons are aligned to help students meet or exceed expectations. My goal is not only to improve students’ academic skills but also to foster a love for learning and develop critical thinking abilities that will benefit them long after they leave the classroom.
