Bio

In my decades of teaching I have worked with students of all backgrounds and abilities to help them come up with speech topics, organize thoughts and research, and deliver the speech, presentation, group projects and more. In addition, I directed marketing and communications for a national company for eighteen years . The job included prepping the company president for meetings, facilitating communication workshops, reviewing presentations, and writing.

Since your creativity is unique to you, my tutoring services are about your objectives with your writing. If it is a novel, we will work on plot, characters, dialogue, description. If it is a memoir, we will work on making sure it has solid structure and reflects who you. I have been a writer all my life publishing an illustrated children's book, a series of religious books, websites as well as edited workbook and manuals.

I taught several versions of Speech Communications for Dallas Community College. Often listed as a Public Speaking course, it also included interpersonal communication, small group work, interviewing prep. In addition to teaching, I was Director of Communications & Marketing for MyEmploymentOptions.com for 18 years, including prepping the President for media interviews public speaking appearances, presentations, webinars and more. I continue to serve on their Board of Advisors.

I have been a writer and reader all my life. I have written books, edited books and manuals, wrote articles, bios, proposals, reports, created websites, and more. My writing work was complimented by position as a Speech and Communication Teacher at vocational and community colleges and my job directing Marketing and Communications for a national company for 18 years.
