Hi, my name is David. I graduated magna cum laude and consecutive Dean’s List awards in undergraduate with a Political Science degree. I’m currently getting my Master’s in Political Management. I worked for a Texas State Senator, and was the youngest Chief of Staff at the TX State Capitol for a Texas House member. I then moved into the campaign world and worked on several Presidential campaigns. I would love to help tutor anyone that needs help. I come from a very long line of teachers in my family (9 total), and I will always be able to find the best strategic approach to learning the materials and improving grades for the student.
My mom was an elementary teacher for many years. After school, I would always be in her classroom helping her tutor students in all different subjects. Elementary math is easy to teach because it is repetition. It might take 30 mins to go over the same type of math question, but once the student has the repetition, a light goes off in their head. Being there to see the moment they finally get it is priceless!
American History, Government & Politics, Political Science, and Social Studies were always my favorite subjects. Without knowing history, we would not have the full context of how our current events and the current political landscape came to be. But what qualifies me the most is my 10+ years in state government and local/state/national campaigns.
Feel free to message me on here...I would love to hear from anyone that needs some help. I’m a fun and upbeat person, and I promise you will have fun in your tutoring session while still learning. And who knows...maybe I can get you interested enough that one day you might be the Texas Governor or President of the United States!
