Marisa was extremely thorough, patient and knowledgeable. She has a multi layered teaching style; demonstrates, written notes and instructional, hands on practice. In our first session, she laid solid groundwork for future sessions. I highly recommend her as a extremely competent and capable tutor.

Helping me meet my art goals!
Marissa has been fantastic! I decided to take lessons to organize a path to reach my art goals and she has been wonderful in helping me reach them. She demonstrates what we're going over in a clear to understand way that helps build into future material. It's great knowing she'll answer any questions I have, I get feedback from homework, and I feel very confident when she relates how the concepts we go over fit into future lessons. It's refreshing knowing what I get to work towards and I feel like I have a clearly defined path forward!
