This was my 5 year old daughter's second lesson with Jasmine. My daughter absolutely LOVES working with her. Jasmine is patient and uses positive reinforcement to motivate musical learning. Get my son playing a real song on his very first lesson!
My 11 year old wanted to learn to play the piano so that he could perform Billie Eilish songs with his sister (who loves to sing). I therefore suggested the chord method (rather than traditional) so that he could play a real song relatively quickly. Jasmine responded that she could teach that method, and sure enough on the very first lesson, my son was able to play the chords for Ocean Eyes. That same night after dinner, my two kids performed the song for us, and tears flowed down my cheeks. My son is now hooked and wants weekly lessons from Jasmine. And I look forward to many more performances after dinner ....
