Hello! I am a resident physician and received my M.D. and M.P.H. from The University of Texas Medical Branch. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, where I triple majored in Plan II Honors, Psychology, and Music (Emphasis in Piano). I have helped students craft/edit application essays for college, graduate school, medical school, residency, and scholarships. As I value education and learning, I hope to instill the importance of education in others. It is my goal to be motivating, kind, and patient with all students.

Specific Qualifications:
I have interviewed over 60+ medical school applicants as an Ambassador at my medical school. I have taken many college level courses with a heavy emphasis in English. My Plan II Honors curriculum has provided me the skills needed to complete a 65-page honors thesis my senior year. In high school, I scored a 5 on the AP English Language and Composition and AP English Literature examinations. I enjoy proofreading essays, editing grammar, and helping students with content and organization!

Wonderful with children!

This was my 5 year old daughter's second lesson with Jasmine. My daughter absolutely LOVES working with her. Jasmine is patient and uses positive reinforcement to motivate musical learning. I am excited to see my daughter grow in learning to play the piano and sing under Jasmine's educational care. Thanks Jasmine!!

Get my son playing a real song on his very first lesson!

My 11 year old wanted to learn to play the piano so that he could perform Billie Eilish songs with his sister (who loves to sing). I therefore suggested the chord method (rather than traditional) so that he could play a real song relatively quickly. Jasmine responded that she could teach that method, and sure enough on the very first lesson, my son was able to play the chords for Ocean Eyes. That same night after dinner, my two kids performed the song for us, and tears flowed down my cheeks. My son is now hooked and wants weekly lessons from Jasmine. And I look forward to many more performances after dinner ....

Thank you for your kind words! I am overjoyed that your children can share their passion for music not only with each other, but also with your entire family. I truly enjoy teaching your son, as he is extremely motivated, polite, and talented. I look forward to adding more songs to his repertoire and teaching him more complex chords/techniques!

Super helpful and knowledgeable about the MD/DO admissions process

Jasmine gave me ample personal advice based on my transcript, MCAT practice test scores, volunteer and work experience, to better understand what kind of applicant I would be, schools I should look at, and strategies to make me stand out. Most importantly, she gave me useful study tips and pointers for my personal statement. Will definitely reach out to her in the future for more guidance on the AMCAS and AACOMAS applications!
