While helming rednaveL, Mitchell produced over twenty films that featured creative talents such as John C. Reilly, Jack Black, Elle Fanning, Amber Heard, Pharrell Williams, Will Arnett, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Kate Walsh and Jane Lynch and were selected for film festivals worldwide (e.g., Sundance, HBO Aspen Comedy Fest, SXSW, Deauville, and Cinequest).
In the short form and television arena, Mitchell produced commercial spots for brands including Coca-Cola, Levi’s, Volvo, and Hyundai, and promos for Maury Pauvich’s Stun Creative, including the launch campaign for the show CROSSING OVER WITH JOHN EDWARDS and the network launch for College Sports Television (CSTV). He was a full-time consultant on 195 episodes of Dick Wolf’s ARREST & TRIAL.
Mitchell also began directing at rednaveL, including an adaptation of Kay Arthur’s bestseller HOW TO STUDY YOUR BIBLE (for kids), a three spot commercial campaign for Monster.com and two award-winning, brand films for the fundraising efforts of the Dallas, Texas non profit organization, Vogel Alcove as well as an assortment of PSA's and music videos.
He was recruited in 2011 to act as Digital Creative Director at Rucker & Co, a boutique advertising agency in Dallas, Texas, where he spent two years creating, writing, producing and overseeing digital and video content.
From 2013 to 2015, Mitchell ventured back to Los Angeles to accept the position of Head of Production at Cartel Pictures, where he actively oversaw all of the day-to-day pre-production, physical production and post-production. He produced and delivered many feature films while at The Car
