I have much success and improving student's learning. My second year of teaching I was nominated teacher of the year in my school district. I was able to increase the math and reading scores by one grade level of 80% of the students in an afterschool program which was United Way funded.
You can teach students how math works in the world and in everyday life. For example we can use a math equation to determine the interest on your brand new car.
You can teach students how science works in the world in which we live and in everyday life.
I believe that learning math and science is fun and rewarding; especially when you see how we use it every day and in world around you.
