Hi there. I am a California native and have lived in the Los Angeles area for the past 14 years. Professionally, I am an accountant by trade with 15+ years corporate experience as a CFO and Corporate Controller. My CPA license is currently pending with the California State Board of Accountancy. I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Nevada Reno, Criminal Justice and then continued my education in Accounting at the University of California-San Diego.

First lesson was pretty good
Kathleen is a pleasant and knowledgeable tutor. She is very positive and encouraging in her tutoring methods. The first lesson was necessarily general in context, as I have no prior experience at all in the field of accounting. I look forward to more lessons with Kathleen. She is a bit difficult to get in contact with if urgent contact is needed, but she does call back and make efforts to keep in communication. Thanks, Kathleen! -Second session- This session was much more in depth and I very much enjoyed Kathleen's teaching methods. The reading material is right on point with what we discussed, which I appreciate very much- all of the questions that I had during the session were thoroughly explained in the reading material. (Kathleen also explained them well in session). I feel that Kathleen understands an appropriate pace for beginners in accounting, and I am impressed by her seemingly organized curriculum thus far. -Third Session- Kathleen is wonderful.
