I am a mixed-media artist based in New York. I hired Lynette for some direction on projects I had been working on in my studio. I have no sewing experience but had some ideas about how to incorporate sewing into my work. Not only is Lynette incredible with technique, but she is also very artistic and open to experimental ideas. We shared images and links all the time between sessions, I felt super supported by Lynette as I explored sewing methods to fit my project. Lynette taught my daughter the ins and outs of sewing on her new sewing machine. My daughter was a beginner sewer and Lynette patiently went over all of the parts and basics of the machine and the different types of garments to use for specific projects. She makes sewing fun for my daughter!
