I'm Sam Dekleva, a Notre Dame Honors Math graduate! I am passionate about showing students the epiphanies they can get from understanding complicated mathematics. While I was at Notre Dame, I tutored or graded for almost every undergraduate mathematics course, as well as a few graduate-level courses. I like to think of mathematics as a large building with a lot of stories. I show my students the tools they may need to access higher levels, and I have years of experience in asking the right questions to get the students to access these tools and think critically and logically.
In addition to mathematics, I scored a perfect 36 on each section of the ACT and have provided tutoring to many of my peers, boosting their average score in each section by over 5 points. I believe that when a student is in high school, a strong ACT preparation schedule is the highest-paying job they can have.
