Hello! My name is Kristen, and I am passionate about helping students gain confidence in Spanish in a supportive and encouraging environment.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Southern Oregon University. During my studies, I completed four years of college-level Spanish coursework. In addition to my formal education, Spanish is part of my everyday life. My husband is a native Spanish speaker, so I regularly speak and practice Spanish at home, allowing me to stay fluent and connected to the language beyond the classroom.
I have experience tutoring both individual students and small groups throughout high school and college. I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to meet their goals, whether they are learning Spanish for school, travel, work, or personal enrichment.
My teaching style is patient, positive, and interactive. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Together, we’ll build vocabulary, improve grammar, strengthen pronunciation, and develop real conversational skills at a pace that fits your needs.
