I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Northeastern University and am currently enrolled in the Texas alternative certification program (WCACP), where I have already passed my Mathematics 4–8 certification exam. I am actively preparing to begin teaching in the classroom and am excited to also support students through tutoring.
Mathematics has always been one of my strongest academic areas, particularly algebra, geometry, probability, and statistics. I was also a member of a math honor society in high school, which helped deepen both my interest and confidence in the subject.
In addition to my academic background, I currently work as a Program Manager in a professional setting where I regularly train team members, organize complex projects, and communicate technical information clearly and effectively. This experience has strengthened my ability to break down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps and adapt my communication style to different learning needs.
As a tutor, my approach is structured, patient, and encouraging. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding first, then reinforcing skills through guided practice and repetition. I aim to help students not only improve their grades, but also build confidence in their ability to solve problems independently. I believe every student can succeed in math with the right support and explanation tailored to their learning style.
I work well with a wide range of students, including those who are struggling and need foundational support as well as those who are looking to strengthen and accelerate their skills. My goal is to create a positive, low-pressure learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
I am currently offering online tutoring for grades 4–8 math, including pre-algebra support and foundational math skills.
