Hi, I'm Coryell! I am a Yale graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysics. Over the course of my degree, I have spent numerous hours tutoring students and in office hours of my own. I try to ground topics and readings in student interests so they feel relevant and compelling, instead of abstract.

Hi, I'm Coryell! I am a Yale graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Astrophysics. Over the course of my degree, I have spent numerous hours tutoring students and in office hours of my own. If my experiences have taught me one thing, it is that learning is not a one size fits all process. If one explanation doesn't click, I work to find another method. I try to ground topics and readings in student interests so they feel relevant and compelling, instead of abstract.
I have a year of experience tutoring middle and high school students in math, chemistry, and physics. Additionally, I spent a semester as an undergraduate learning assistant for Introduction to Relativity and Black Holes. While my degree is in science, I am also compelled by literature and history and have worked in theatre for many years. Because of these interests, I have a wealth of experience in analyzing texts both fiction and nonfiction.
Student success is always my priority, so I welcome any resources or information students and parents would like to provide. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a session!
