Families can expect a patient, structured tutor who understands that every learner has strengths. I use explicit instruction, multisensory strategies, progress monitoring, and positive reinforcement to help students feel successful while making measurable academic growth. My goal is to help students not only improve their skills, but also believe in their ability to learn.
I am a certified educator with over 18 years of experience teaching and supporting TK–8 students in classroom, small-group, one-on-one, and virtual settings. I hold a Master’s in Education with a concentration in Reading, a B.A. in Liberal Studies and Human Development, California teaching credentials in Multiple Subjects and Mild/Moderate Special Education, an Autism Authorization, and current Texas certifications in Core Subjects, Special Education EC–12, and ESL.
