Hi, my name is Jonaki! I’m a student at Northwestern University majoring in Social Policy.

My focus is tutoring for standardized tests like the SAT and ACT. I’ve seen firsthand how overwhelming college admissions can feel between grades, extracurriculars, essays, and everything else students have to juggle. I believe that when students have strong support with standardized tests, it can make one part of that process feel more in their control. My goal is to help students approach these exams feeling calm, confident, and prepared.
When I was in high school, I earned 99th percentile scores on the ACT (36 superscore, 35 composite) and PSAT (1500), and I was also a National Merit Finalist. I know the strategies and tricks necessary to do well on these exams, and I love helping students learn how to tackle them with confidence and clarity.

In addition to test prep, I also have expertise tutoring middle and high school math and English for students in grades 6 through 12. Whether it’s building strong algebra foundations or strengthening reading comprehension skills, I work to meet students where they are and guide them toward their academic goals.

I’ve worked with students one-on-one, in large group settings, and online—both independently and through nonprofits such as Upchieve. I also coach and instruct in both debate and karate, which have helped round out my teaching experience.
