I'm a lifelong patron of the arts, current multimedia artist. I'm a professional graphic designer, filmmaker, and photographer, and I've even got a couple unique skills up my sleeve, like projection mapping and digital fabrication, if that's your thing.
I hold a BA in Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communications from the University of Texas at Dallas, studying a concentration in Graphic Design and Production. In design, I've been a user of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator since I was 16, earned my Adobe Certification, and worked with Adobe directly as a beta-tester for the iPad version of Photoshop. I'm now 23, and I've never stopped learning, or crafting new techniques.
As a tutor, I most recently worked with UT Dallas my senior year in our Anechoic Chamber Transmedia Studio-- instructing my peers one-on-one how to operate analog synthesizers, record digital music, create light and video art, and encouraging them to perform. I enjoy working with people in and outside of their comfort zone, encouraging my students to understand process as well as principle, and pushing them to apply their skills in areas they were unaware they could achieve.
Learning the arts with me is not simple tutorial-- it's a set of skills and ideas, a creative framework that I afford you to push your ideas just a little bit further.
