Bio

I hold a Bachelor’s degree and bring nine years of experience as a certified classroom teacher in Downtown Dallas. Over the course of my career, I have developed a proven STAAR bootcamp curriculum tailored for tutoring students to achieve outstanding results. I have taught a wide range of subjects, including 4th-12th grade science (General Science, Earth Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology), as well as 4th and 7th grade Texas History.

I have taught a wide range of subjects, including 4th-12th grade science (General Science, Earth Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology), as well as 4th and 7th grade Texas History.

In addition to all of this, I am also a certified EC-6 Generalist, which qualifies me to teach and tutor core subjects such as reading, writing, math, history, and more for elementary-aged students. I specialize in helping children improve their reading skills by focusing on phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension through engaging, structured activities tailored to their individual needs. For math, I break down complex concepts into simple, manageable steps and use hands-on approaches, games, and real-world applications to build both foundational skills and confidence in problem-solving.

I love incorporating science experiments and hands-on activities into my lessons to engage students and make learning fun and memorable. By fostering curiosity and encouraging active participation, I help students develop a deeper understanding of concepts while building their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
