I have helped some fellow college students over the last few years by offering suggestions to improve their writing assignments, including corrections to their grammar, punctuation, and word choice. I have also helped them by discussing the topics that they were interested in and suggesting ways to connect those topics to their essays and other written assignments.
Since I am a firm believer that strong reading comprehension is the foundation for success in any academic subject, I prioritize helping students understand the assigned reading materials for their classes. Additionally, I am able to proofread papers and offer suggestions for improvement. I am also able to teach students how to apply their own interests and ideas to writing assignments at the collegiate level, including how to find credible sources for their papers.
