I understand how difficult it is to learn and stay focus on a subject that can be frustrating. I've experienced the glazed look during class when a teacher introduces a new topic. I have ADD and can completely relate.
I enjoy trying to find the mental hurdle that prevents a student from understanding something and love seeing them get past that hurdle.
Please note that I usually begin tutoring students when they start learning Algebra or around 7th or 8th grade.
I have been tutoring math since I was in High school. When I was in college I tutored in the Math Lab as well. I love helping students understand mathematical topics. When I first meet a new students, I try to understand their goals and then assess where they are weakest.
