After searching countless hours for the perfect tutor for Chemistry, I stumbled upon Irma, and I am so glad I did! From the very beginning, she is just super easy to talk to. It's one thing for a tutor to know what he/she is talking about and it's another thing when a tutor can teach and make it something enjoyable, understanding, and fun. Irma was able to do all three....
I'm Irma! I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a minor in Math. I enjoy teaching Chemistry. It is my favorite subject! I bring my passion to my tutoring approach. I always try to make it relevant and pleasant experience. I introduce the topic in a fun and creative way, teach the material with examples, and allow the student to practice independently to master what they just learned. Of course, this method can be adjusted based on the student's individual needs.

For my 11th grade Junior year in High School, I found chem to be a very challenging and poorly taught subject in my school. After searching countless hours for the perfect tutor for Chemistry, I stumbled upon Irma, and I am so glad I did! From the very beginning, she is just super easy to talk to. It's one thing for a tutor to know what he/she is talking about and it's another thing when a tutor can teach and make it something enjoyable, understanding, and fun. Irma was able to do all three. After having lessons spanning the entire school year, I am satisfied with the grades I have gotten through her expertise. Fortunate to have ended the school year with an A+ overall average! Just to run through some aspects, my work schedule was extremely busy but Irma has a very flexible schedule which is perfect! Her response is also very timely and so I am able to schedule, cancel, or reschedule very quickly and with no problems. When it comes to the actually learning, she teaches very well and in many methods to make sure you understand the material. She won't give up until you understand it. Her patience is outstanding! What I really enjoyed the most out of our lessons though was the connection we had. It was such a strong, cohesive connection where it wasn't me paying attention to another tutor but it was me and another person on the same boat to achieve one thing; understand chemistry. Overall, do I recommend Irma, indeed! After spending basically a year with her, I can guarantee that you won't regret working with her and she will meet all your chemistry needs, wants, and desires. Thank you Irma once again for all the help. I would not be where I am if it wasn't for you! Thank you!
