Hi, Hello, Howdy from Houston, Texas. I am Mustafa! I have been a full time & certified secondary math teacher since 2012 in Texas. At the same time, I have been adjunct math faculty at Lone Star and San Jacinto College. Also, I have been creating and reviewing mathematics questions for the ACT company as a part-time job.
I’m super excited and looking forward to being your tutor. As someone with a lifetime love of relational mathematics, I thrive on digging into the math world and producing insightful and meaningful lessons & instructions for my students. I have been a knowledgeable and dedicated mathematics educator who has 8 years of teaching experience in the classroom to improve teaching and learning outcomes. Proficient knowledge in mathematics starting from elementary math to all the way up to college algebra. I’m very eager to turn my talent for breaking down math into actionable math strategies for my students. I’m thrilled at the opportunity to use my expertise and experience to utilize various curriculum resources and technologies to enhance student learning, create lessons, and modify (if needed) the course. Thanks to teaching, I got superior communication skills, being able to teach various age levels and diverse backgrounds.
I design each tutoring session and group work for my students to actively engage with the tools. As a researcher as well as a teacher I believe, every class I teach and every verbal or digital interaction with my students enriches my own mathematical scholarship. I look forward to teaching different mathematics courses, and interacting with new students, and facing new challenges. In all these activities, I will always aim to convey the very spirit that I appreciate about mathematics, the field which once showed mankind that two seemingly different problems such as finding instantaneous velocity and finding the tangent to a given curve are actually identical if only we can recognize the pattern that links them.
Thank you very much for taking up some of your valuable time to
