I am currently a licensed teacher in elementary education, special education and early childhood education. I have taught English reading and writing skills to second graders for a few years. It very important to make sure students build a strong foundation in this subject so that they may excel throughout their education. A well reader and writer will always reach extraordinary success!
Whats makes me an successful teacher / tutor is that I have a warm , soft and dedicated approach. I am patient and very thorough with my students. I always assess to see that my student understand the small components before we move on to other elements. I always go backwards making sure students have a good understanding of the basic before I move on to the current teaching. Sometimes there are missing points (gaps) that need to be worked on before student fully comprehend. I am also an expert in helping students understand material , review ,prepare for test. Dialogue , and "listening" to students, quizzing them along the way, asking them the process, the steps, shows that the student has mastered the lesson.
Once again my expertise is in teaching phonics to young children, teaching reading comprehension skills, along with building and making my readers more critical thinkers . I am also great at helping students become better writers , able to express themselves , become better at the entire "essay" writing process. I am very good at motivating my shy readers and writers , there are many strategies and tools that I share with my students that help them come out of their shell and gives them ideas to develop further.
I am an expert at teaching elementary math. My approach is also unique in which I assess student weakness / strength and I build upon it. I have the same approach where i move backwards making sure there are no missing gaps or missing mathematical concepts. My goal are for my students to excel and improve in their grades and in their test. I work very hard with my students. I want my students to succeed
