As for my educational background, I have a Bachelor’s Degree in French from the University of Rouen, France, a Masters Degree from the University of Rouen, France, and a Masters Degree in Romance Languages from the University of New Orleans in Louisiana.
I obtained my teaching certifications from Louisiana and Texas.
My previous experience includes more than 18 years of teaching experience and more than 10 years of tutoring experience.
I specialize in French all levels, AP French Language and Literature, Spanish all levels, and AP Spanish Language and Literature, ESL/ELL, and Test preparation.
I utilize a combination of hands-on activities, technology integration, and personalized lesson plans to engage students and address their unique learning needs.
I have worked with students ages 6 to 18. I have also worked with adults in my language classes (Conversational French, Spanish, and English).
I have taught in different settings such as: in a middle school classroom during the beginning 3 years of my career, focusing on differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning styles. The rest of the years were in high school. I have also worked with college students and adults.
I have provided one-on-one tutoring for high school students in French, Spanish, and English helping them prepare for exams.
I volunteered at a local community center, offering tutoring sessions and test preparation sessions for underserved youth.
