Hi, I’m Mihir! Music has been a major part of my life and one of the strongest foundations of my discipline, leadership, and teaching style. At Texas A&M University, I served as the principal saxophone player for the university concert band, and I was also the 1st chair alto saxophonist in the Texas A&M University Symphonic Band, performing two concerts per semester in an ensemble of more than 50 classical musicians [1]. Before college, I marched as a saxophone player for Coppell High School from 2019–2023, and from 2020–2023, our band placed in the top 10 at both BOA and UIL state competitions.

I am currently pursuing a B.S. in Biochemistry at Texas A&M University and expect to graduate in May 2027 [1]. Alongside my academic and musical background, I have experience mentoring and teaching students in several settings. As a camp counselor at YMCA Camp on the Lake, I guided 10–11-year-old boys through activities like archery, shooting, and boating while supporting campers through emotional and physical challenges [1]. I also worked as a swim instructor and coach, teaching skills ranging from basic water safety to stroke development and meet preparation [1].

At Texas A&M, I work as a student worker for the Department of Music Activities, providing administrative and faculty support [1]. I’m also active in service through SLAM, where I’ve helped organize service projects, build portable medical clinics, renovate homes, and raise funds for Voices for Children [1]. As a tutor, I aim to create a positive, encouraging, and personalized learning environment where students can build confidence and grow.
