Hello! I am a soon-to-be medical student at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston who has always had a passion for academics and hope to pass that on through tutoring. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Southern California in 2021 with a degree in Human Biology in the Applied Biomedical Sciences track. During my time there I was involved in number of organizations that taught science and math to a variety of age groups ranging from elementary to high school. The entirety of my experience with elementary and middle school age groups was in a classroom setting, while most all of my experience teaching high schoolers was 1-on-1. The subjects I taught range from biology, anatomy, and physiology, to biochemistry, organic chemisty, and algebra.
As someone who just recently finished school and am once again starting, I have a thorough understanding of the student experience and the frustration that certain subjects may cause. I am very flexible with lesson planning and am very adaptive to tutoring whatever concept or subject is needed. In my experience I have found that student learn in many differnt ways and thus I try to tailor each experience to the strengths of the student. Please feel free to reach out at any time for help!
