I am currently a senior pursuing a dual BS/MS in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics at the University of Texas at Dallas. With a 3.854 GPA and a National Merit Scholarship that covers my tuition, I have devoted myself to academic excellence and research, while also honing my teaching skills. My passion for science has led me to work as a tutor and teaching assistant in various subjects, including biology, chemistry, physics, and writing. I thrive on helping students understand difficult concepts and guiding them to success in their academic endeavors.

My teaching journey began at Elm Fork Homeschool Labs, where I taught biology and chemistry to middle and high school students through hands-on lab experiments and Socratic-style discussions. This experience allowed me to connect with students in a dynamic, interactive way, ensuring they not only learned the material but also developed a passion for science. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant in a college-level writing course, where I helped students improve their writing through personalized feedback and workshops. These roles gave me valuable insights into the diverse learning needs of students and the importance of adaptability in teaching.
Currently, I tutor students through Club Z Tutoring of DFW, specializing in chemistry, physics, and standardized test prep. I primarily work with high school students, developing customized study plans that cater to each individual's learning style. My goal is to break down complex concepts into manageable steps, helping students build confidence in their abilities. I focus on creating an engaging and supportive environment, whether online or in-person, where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring challenging topics. By tailoring my approach and providing constructive feedback, I ensure my students are well-prepared for both academic success and future challenges.
